Kerry Bohac is a graduate of Xavier University. In 1994, Kerry became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Western Ohio. After practicing for several years, Kerry married, moved to Cleveland and decided to focus her career in human resources. She joined Good Samaritan in 2007 as V.P. Human Resources and Compliance. In 2011, she stepped into the administrator role. Kerry enjoys reading, knitting and spending time with family when not at work.
Prentice Thompson (CEO) is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and the University of Virginia. Prentice started his career as an administrator in Virgina. He moved to Ohio in 2000 where he was the Chief Operating Officer of a locally owned company. Prentice is married with two kids and enjoys spending time with his family and sports.
Melissa Verzi (CFO) is a graduate of the David N. Meyers College. In 1995 she started her career as an Accountant for a company in Westlake. In 2000 she took on the role as Accounting Manager for a local Long-Term Care company. She joined Good Samaritan in 2008 as their Chief Financial Officer. Melissa has two kids and enjoys spending time with her family.
Sandi Allen joined the team at Good Samaritan in September, 2011 as the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. In 2005, Sandi earned the Administrative Assistant Associate of Applied Science Degree at Bryant and Stratton College. Aside from working at the front desk, Sandi occasionally works on projects in the Business Office at Good Samaritan and provides support to all of the departments. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids and three grandchildren.
Amie Betz joined Good Samaritan in September of 2012 as the Admissions Director. Amie is responsible for continuously placing individuals that are in need of nursing and/or rehabilitation services at Good Samaritan. She enjoys making sure that the residents are happy during their stay here. Before joining Good Samaritan, Amie  managed a Home Care Agency for 12 years. She is also a member of the Elder Abuse Committee for Lorain County. When she is not at  work, she enjoys spending time with her two teenage children and cheering them on at their sporting events.

 Angela Kaminski joined the Good Samaritan team in October, 2012. Angela is the Activities Director, also known as the “Director of Fun” at Good Samaritan. Angela holds her Activities Director Certification, as well as a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Health Sciences from Cleveland State University. As the Activities Director, Angela is responsible for coordinating in house programs, as well as community outings. Aside from programming, Angela is responsible for meeting the needs of our residents as a group, as well as individually, but most importantly bringing smiles to their faces. In her spare time, Angela enjoys cooking, reading mystery novels, hiking, traveling, and playing sports.
 
Beth McCarthy joined the team at Good Samaritan in October, 2012. She is the Human Resources Manager and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies and Psychology from Ohio University. As the Human Resources Manager, Beth is responsible for recruiting and hiring, employee benefits, and employee relations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, cooking, and traveling to Columbus to visit family.

Jodi Maderitz joined the team at Good Samaritan in March, 2006.  She is the Social Services Director and has a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University.  As the Social Service Director, Jodi has lots of direct contact with residents and their families whether it be in care conferences, assessments, or just helping out with day to day questions or concerns.  Outside of work, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter and is expecting her second daughter December 31, 2012.

Val Davis has been an employee at Good Samaritan for five years. As the Dietary Director, Val enjoys making her residents happy by offering a variety of delicious options at every meal. Val is married and is the proud mother of two sons that both serve in the military. Outside of work, her hobbies include reading, watching sports, and watching old movies.
Nicole Garlitz is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has been practicing speech therapy in the Cleveland area for the past eight years.  She has a Masters of  Arts in Speech and Audiology from the Cleveland State University and a BS in Communication Disorders from Bowling Green State University.  Currently Director of Rehabilitation at the Good Samaritan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past six years. Nicole specializes in working with resident's who have suffered from stokes, neurological disorders, brain injury and throat cancer. Her expertise includes, assessment and management of oropharyngeal dysphagia, aphasia and other cognitive-linguistic  deficits, and tracheostomy/passy-muir management.  Nicole also is certified to provide deep pharyngeal neuromuscular stimulation (DPNS) for dysphagia patients.  Nicole is committed to providing the highest level of care to our resident's.
